Nike AF-100 at Series by Bodega Recap

Nike AF-100 at Series by Bodega Recap

By the time Bodega first opened doors in 2006, the Nike Air Force 1 was one of the most celebrated designs in fashion history.

Its humble beginnings as an 80’s street style staple on and off court one the east coast gave it a cultural heritage which resulted in some of the most sought after collabs of our early days as a shop. One of the first kicks we had on display case that really snapped necks were the Easter Eggs AF1’s. That was one of the first moments when we really felt part of the sneaker world - before we been artists & DJs at events but now we were really in it as a trusted partner brand of the swoosh.

That sentiment came back this weekend when we hosted the AF100 launch at Series. We had this full install, limited drops with Acronym, Just Don, Travis Scott & Roc-a-fella. We were also one of the few places on the planet where you could custom dip dye the series.

To be part of the AF-100 35th celebration was really an honor.

The product continues to be on point due to the timeless design but also through innovative partnerships with Acronym & the rest. We see a whole new generation of fashionistas connect with Air Force as a continuation of the legacy - all in our space with our crew hosting & DJing (shout out to Reef, Big Bear & Tha Yellow R. Kel - we’ll post your sets soon on the pirate radio). Big ups to Nike and thanks to everyone who worked on this one.
