Normally, white shoes, especially, white suede fears wet weather, the way a small field rodent fears a Red Tailed Hawk. It just doesn’t stand a chance. That was begore Chicago boutique Saint Alfred tackled the iconic Adidas Gazelle on the latest Consortium collaborative project.
The clean lines and simple good looks that made the Gazelle an icon are the visual focal point of this shoe, but there’s a tech component just under the surface. Actually, if we’re being literal, it’s on the surface, as well as under it, because the tonal, white suede upper is water resistant. The weatherproof treatment continues on the inside of the shoe, with a Gore-Tex lining.
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
