In what might be the best Finnish/Dutch partnership since Jari Litmanen turned out for Louis Van Gaal’s Ajax, Amsterdam based streetwear label Patta have paired up with legendary Finnish running brand Karhu, on a silhouette celebrating Karhu’s centenary.
A shoe from the tech heavy 90s, the Synchron, is the silhouette of choice for this collaborative edition. The Synchron stands out from its peers thanks to a simple, but memorable detail, a lacing system that extends down to the toe box, meant for adding extra tightness to the forefoot area as the shoe is broken in with repeated use.
An updated compression molded EVA midsole and visible Air Cushion technology in the outsole combine with classic mesh construction to bring contemporary performance into this classic look. Cobranded tongue labels, and the addition of premium nubuck suede to the shoe’s overlays provide the extra special details that complete any collaborative release.
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
