Collaboration between two different footwear brands isn’t a common occurrence, but historical giants Puma and boutique craftsmen Filling Pieces occupy different enough places on the footwear spectrum to make a team up an intriguing possibility. It’s fitting that the end product of a rare joint branded effort should be an uncommon sneaker.
The Blaze Of Glory is one of Puma’s most recognizable silhouettes, and it’s certainly been tapped for its fair share of collaborative efforts and special releases, but we’ve still never seen it look quite like this.
The athletic, performance oriented, tech look that makes the Blaze Of Glory such a distinctive model proves to be the perfect foil for Filling Pieces and their luxury craft approach. Laser woven leather and nubuck suede work side by side with mesh and a midfoot elastic snap. The signature Filling Pieces high tongue rounds out the design.
