The World Best, at first glance, looks like another casual classic from Reebok. It has all the hallmarks: the streamlined, 80s running shape, neutral/primary color scheme, and the microsuede/nylon construction.
Looks can be deceiving. Even though we’re accustomed to thinking of old-school running shoes purely in casual terms, when the World Best originally released in 1987, the shoe was actually one of the lightest runners available. Reebok brings this overlooked gem out of the archive in its original colorway.
Although you can practically see the World Best running across the Fens now, there is one added detail that wasn’t present in 1987. The shoe’s name has been embroidered on the heel, because what’s the point of being the best in the world if nobody knows about it?
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
