Japanese culture is often mined for visual inspiration, but Stussy are going for some historically deep cuts with the Well Ghost t-shirt.

This shirt features a print from the work of the epochal Japanese artist, Katushika Hokusai, depicting a scene from the Japanese folk legend of Okiku. There are different versions of the legend, but they all entail a woman, Okiku, who is falsely accused of destroying one of ten priceless heirloom plates, and blackmailed into a romantic entanglement. When she refuses to go along with it, she is unceremoniously killed and dumped down a well, causing her spirit to rise and count the remaining plates.

So, maybe, when you get this shirt, don’t wear it around plates.

If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
