It is no secret that in the years since its release, adidas’s Boost technology has taken the sneaker head world by a storm, with the ‘Ultraboost’ rapidly becoming a household name. This time, adidas has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to construct a new Ultraboost, designed to help spread awareness for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October.
Featuring a new spin on a now classic, this Ultraboost contains all of the benefits of regular Boosts, while adding a touch of flare. With a typical caged design and Boost-technology sole, the shoe is made for comfort and perfect for every day wear. A new White and Black, cookies n’ cream-like color way is palatable to the eye, while a Black Boost insole and White outsole make the shoe much easier to maintain and keep clean. The black heel cup includes pink “ultraboost” lettering, while the signature American Cancer Society ribbon in pink is pressed on the back heel loop. The shoe is then finished off with an additional pink detailing on the lacing ends, making it a subtle, yet impactful, reminder for Breast Cancer Awareness.
