Nike may be synonymous with the revolutionary modernization of tennis shoe design, but they weren’t exactly slouches when it comes to the classic tennis shoe either.
The Meadow is an early 80s classic from the Nike archives. The white and blue colorway was a tennis court mainstay for years, and makes the transition to casual style with the precision of an expertly placed lob shot.
In fact, maybe the Meadow is better off now. After all, pretty much any shoe in the world looks better when it isn’t being paired exclusively with white tennis shorts of 1980s tightness.
