How many shoes out there could possibly have taken their names from 4th century Greek saints? An exact number is difficult to pin down, but it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of ‘not many.’ That’s just the kind of shoe the Air Zoom Spiridon is.
The Air Zoom Spiridon isn’t a shoe like the Air Force 1 or the Air Max 95 that has inspired as many fawning retrospectives as it has reissues. The Air Zoom Spiridon is, however, a favorite among the truly hardcore devotees of Nike running shoes.
The late 90s tech design definitely caters to a specific taste, but the Spiridon’s enduring appeal lies in the dinstinctive midsole pattern and the ahead of its time, full-length Air Zoom cushioning. Nike running fans will be glad to see the Spiridon get another run out, but if you’re experiencing this shoe for the first time, don’t make the same mistake people in 1997 did. (We meant don’t overlook the Air Zoom Spiridon, but now that you mention it, don’t feed your Tamagotchi during your biology final either.)
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
