The Air Max 90 shape is a more angular, streamlined evolutionary step from the original Air Max 1 design, very much in tune with the “in your face” style of the time. The safari print that Nike breaks out on this model is classic 1990 as well, but altogether this shoe adds up to more than the sum of its parts.
It’s true that the Air Max 90 Premium would pair well with a puffy, silver and black jacket, but it fits in just as well with the ultra-modern athletic look that rules today.
