Straight out of the unlikely streetwear destination of Connecticut, Dertbag is the personal project of young designer Philip Post. Inspired by seeing Bathing Ape mogul Nigo hobnobbing with Pharrell Williams on MTV, Post began producing hand printed designs under the Dertbag label at the tender age of 13.
Fast forward to 2016, and the simple, appealingly idiosyncratic sensibility of Dertbag has made serious waves in fashion and pop culture. Some of the biggest names in rap have repped Dertbag, prompting a flood of “what’s that shirt he’s wearing.” Pay attention and act now, and that question could be about you next.
