When it was originally released in 1997, the Nike Foamposite technology came in the form of two models—the Air Foamposite One and the Air Foamposite Pro—with just a jewel Swoosh and Penny branding setting them apart. Throughout the years, it has grown to become one of the most recognized sneakers of all-time, combining simplicity with intricate details and shapes, and a silhouette recognizable from a mile away.
Now, 21 years later, Nike drops another special edition Air Foamposite One, ready to backfire at all of the trolling comments regarding Nike’s denim kicks. Equipped with a water resistant treatment, the shoe features an upper wrapped in a Light Obsidian, denim color way, ready to take on the conditions of the upcoming Autumn/Winter seasons. The rest is dressed in a Black Nubuck with red Nike hits, while the outsole is finished with an icy, translucent rubber, adding to the silhouettes classically unique design.
