Philadelphia retailer UBIQ has teamed up with New Balance to create the patriotic Benjamin 1600 runner. Named after one of our Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin, the shoe sports a traditional Philly color way in suede, with brown leather accents throughout. It also features a gum outsole complimented by a speckled midsole. On the tongue and insole you'll see 13 stars surrounding the NB logo in reference to the original 13 colonies. Can't get any more patriotic than that. Releasing online this Saturday 7.27.13 at 12:01 a.m. EST and in-store at 11 a.m. the UBIQ x New Balance 1600 "The Benjamin" will be available for $175 USD.
